With a billion active users in a month and an insane rate of successful advertising, Instagram is definitely the social network you need to use for marketing. But all that said, getting noticed there is hard and to keep your audience’s attention, you’ll need to post great content consistently and often. Preferably, you should do it every day, which means you’ll run out of ideas pretty soon.
When this happens, use the following as inspiration:
#1: Unique Ways to Use Your Product
Leave how-to posts for your blog, but fill your Insta feed with stylish photos of every way your product can be used creatively or directly. After all, a picture is better than a thousand words.
#2: Posts Supporting Various Causes
Your business Instagram account shouldn’t be about business only. Use it to connect with the audience and build goodwill for your brand. Supporting various causes that your audience cares about is a great way to catch their attention and win their loyalty.
#3: Quotes
Instagram is not only about photography, so use the power of words to connect with your audience. But don’t go too overboard with this and make sure that any quote you post on Instagram is short and presented in an aesthetically appealing way.
#4: Backstage Videos
Use Instagram to let the customers glimpse how your business operates. Everything, from your office tea breaks to the manufacturing process to short bios of your team members should be up there in your account. I can’t stress enough how important it is to make this account personable, even if it’s focused on business marketing.
#5: Statistics
Nothing can beat the power of numbers, so if you have some impressive ones to share, do it on Instagram. The purpose of these posts is to shock and impress prospective customers so they become more interested in the product.
Personally, I love Instagram and in my experience it’s a fantastic channel for marketing. Most of all, I love that it’s a platform where you can show off your creativity. Do you have any other ideas to add to these? Please, share!
